Here’s the new Cuban League jersey available in the latest Ebbets Field Flannels catelog. It’s a reproduction of the home jersey worn by the 1938 Cuba entry in the Cuban League. The 1938-39 team included Negro League star Ray Dandridge, who batted .318 that season. But Cuba finished 25-29, nine games behind powerhouse Santa Clara, which featured Josh Gibson, who batted .356 with a league-leading 11 home runs while driving in 39 runs.
