RBI for Jose Bautista after he doubled and tripled while driving in two during the Blue Jays 5-4 victory against the Tigers. Of course, Bautista will be punished accordingly tonight for not hitting any home runs. Seriously disappointing performance today. Apparently I should also change my blog’s name to Old Time Family Jose Bautista Playing Baseball because that’s all I ever post about.
Brandon Morrow continued to look sharp with 9 strikeouts and only one walk in his 6 innings. Morrow has lowered his ERA over half a point over his last four starts since giving up 5 earned runs against the Yankees at the beginning of August. Miguel Cabrera hit his 33rd home run of the season to leave the only mark on Morrow’s day.
