9 IP, 4 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 1 K. Braden better be buying his defense a big steak dinner because they needed to convert 26 of his 27 outs which is no easy feat against a team like the Rangers. The A’s won 5-0.

On an unrelated note, it appears that Dallas Braden has decided to grow a hybrid goatee/lower half of a beard facial hair object to which I must say, “Dallas, I don’t care how they do it in the 209. That’s not how they do it in the real world. You’ll never get ahead in life looking like a ragamuffin.”
