I’ll admit that I feel pretty bad for Kevin Millwood. He may not have been a great or even decent pitcher this season, but he’s certainly had some moments, but pitching for the Orioles has left him on the wrong side of things far too often. Millwood picked up his first victory since June 24th, and his first against an AL club since October 1st of last year with eight scoreless innings against the Angels. Millwood gave up six hits, walked one, and struck out five to improve to 3-14 as the Orioles took care of the Halos 5-0.
This is probably the end of the line for Millwood, who has a career 158-135 mark, as he will be a free agent after the season and has posted ERAs above 5.00 for three of the last four years.
