If you could have one Colorado Rockie To Start Your Team
Would you choose Carlos Gonzalez or Troy Tulowitzki?
Now that the Rockies have wasted that ten game winning streak that put them back in the hunt, I think this is an interesting discussion question.
Keep in mind Gonzalez is younger by a year and has one more season of team control, but Tulowitzki has less extreme home/road splits and plays a more demanding positon.
What’s your choice?

Tulo. I’ll take an excellent defensive and offensive SS over pretty much anyone other than an ace SP.

Miguel Olivo has good stats, too, just not as good as Gonzalez or Tulowitzki.

Great question. I think I have to go w/ Tulo. He’s been a team leader since day 1 in the bigs, and he’s been consistently great for years.

Gonzalez. As a Rockies devotee and Denverite, I’ve gotten the chance to see both play frequently. CarGo is the definition of five-tool player
