Very true, though I think they’ll come up short. But that’s personal, unsubstantiated opinion.
However, today word comes from Ken Rosenthal that the Tigers are very interested in Carl Crawford. Maybe they’ll be bigger players than I expect. And if they can bring in bigger bats than Brandon Inge and Jhonny Peralta to support that pitching staff, the Central should be on notice.
