Game Three
6:57 ET:
San Francisco Giants (J. Sanchez 13-9 3.07) at Texas Rangers (C. Lewis 12-13 3.72)
While Colby Lewis will be battling Jonathan Sanchez for the Rangers postseason lives, we all know the real battle is the internal struggle going on inside of Justin Bieber. Does he listen to his head and root for the Giants, or listen to his heart and pull for the Rangers? Or does he continue to kowtow to his handlers and wear both team’s apparel and look like an idiot? Maybe we’ll never know for sure.
With the Rangers offense looking anemic in the first two games of the series, there is room for hope. They return home and now face a lefthander who’s control was very shaky in his last time out. With the Rangers powerful right sided batsmen having that benefit, I think they’ll break out of their funk tonight. Maybe not by putting up ten runs, but with the way Colby Lewis has pitched this postseason, five or six runs may be enough.
I hate to interfere with destiny, but tonight Arlington will celebrate a victory. Maybe.
Edge: Rangers.
