I’m assuming my eyes deceived me tonight as it appears that Neftali Feliz indeed pitched the ninth inning during a close postseason game. And he saved the game!
If true, and I’m not ready to accept that as fact and not some fancy trick of the light, it’s pretty startling. I mean, apparently this guy doesn’t know how to pitch judging by the fact that he’s faced half the number of batters that Darren Oliver has this postseason.
Regardless, the Rangers will be playing baseball into November with a 4-2 victory over the Giants.
