mango-milkshakes: what would be your take on the Giant's new player Andrés Torres?
It’s hard to find a player that’s easier to root for. It’s not often that players initially wash out as prospects to then make the proper adjustments and receive a second chance to make a serious contribution at the age of 32.
Of course, it’s a concern that once pitchers get an updated scouting report that his weaknesses will be exploited, and be on the wrong side of 30 isn’t great, but I would plan on enjoying him, probably in a platoon role, for another two or three years before he fades away.
