Great for John Danks, but I really want to meet this fan. This doesn’t seem to be a terrible deal for Chicago. Danks is still only 26 and has been a solid enough pitcher - $65 million for five years of service might actually be a bargain these days in Major League Baseball. While a number of teams were linked to Danks in off season trade rumors, it seemed that Kenny Williams wasn’t going to get what he wanted in return for the lefty.
