Report: A’s Cleared to Move to San Jose
When you’ve finally reached a decision after a century of internal discussion and investigation,* it’s best to leak the news on Christmas Eve, otherwise known as The Information Pit. Though more news regarding what tradeoff the Giants received in surrendering their territory to the Athletics, it’s nice that the A’s may actually be able to sign big name free agents like Josh Willingham in the near future.
No word yet on where the Athletics will play, though perhaps the Winchester Mystery House would be open to another addition, just to keep the ghosts at bay.
