Baseball IQ, MLB Network’s new baseball quiz show, is set to debut on January 24th at 9:00 p.m. ET. To commemorate this occasion, I’ve dug up a few pitches the network might consider for other shows, such as…

Let Me Be Curt With Curt Schilling. An O’Reilly Factor-esque show where Schilling takes on the day’s hot button issues, including, “Steak and cheese sub - the best ravioli filling?;” “Best pitchers of all time named Curt;” and “The impending oil drought - is it time for a robust national policy on renewable energy?” Schilling, as in his conversations with fans and reporters alike, takes no prisoners.

Jack And Ron Take Sarasota. Jack McKeon, Ron Gardenhire, Sarasota, Florida, and no rules. Follow these two living legends as they track down the best coffee shop in terms of bathroom cleanliness, quickest route to the grocery store, and the most promising prospects in the 60+ softball league.

Tony La Russa Presents FUNdamentals. Trying to inspire your kid to pick up the bat and glove? Sick of the overwhelming influence your NFL loving brother-in-law has over your son’s sports loves? Tony La Russa is here to change all that. This daily show will have your child up at 5 a.m. for field drills and outfield sprints. After all, you can’t teach fundamentals…you have to get ‘em as early as possible.

Vendor Wars. 30 concessions vendors, 30 stadiums throughout the season. After grueling challenges and elimination rounds to see who can best serve the baseball masses, Jack Zduriencik crowns the King of the Vendors, who subsequently gets a shot at making Seattle’s starting lineup.
