Bobby Valentine Addresses the Red Sox Biggest Needs
No, Valentine did not address who is going to play shortstop or what kind of starting rotation the Sox will have next year, instead he covered a much more critical need for the team’s success.
Before a speaking engagement at Mohegan Sun, Valentine offered this highly critical piece of information regarding the Bud Light and fried chicken that the Sox were known to consume:
“We’ve got to go to draft beer and grilled chicken, I think.”
Had the team traded in their Bud Light’s for a Harpoon IPA, I’m pretty sure the Red Sox would have won the World Series. I mean, you’re only as good as the beer you drink.
