Baseball Card of the Week: It’s a shame that we’ll never have cards like these again. First there’s the wonderfully dated neon colored “MVP” that you can imagine was star wiped into frame and then there is George Brett in an exciting “ready to pounce” pose with the flip up sunglasses. I don’t know when the flip up sunglasses went out of style, but I know that we cannot claim to be an advanced civilization without them. This card is all the better knowing that George Brett may have been shitting his pants when this photo was taken.
