The Rockies are extremely busy tonight. First they lock up their star shortstop to a 10 year extension worth $157.5 million dollars and now they’ve locked up Jorge De La Rosa to a three year extension worth $32-33 million. Whoever loses the Cliff Lee deal will be really depressed now that they don’t have De La Rosa to fall back on. De La Rosa must really love Colorado because while he didn’t leave too much money on the table, he probably left a couple of years off.
