A Poem For the Now Traded Shane Victorino

The Flyin’ Hawaiian

is probably crying

as he bid all his friends

‘Good day’

The Hawaiian, now flying,

his tears currently drying,

as he moves towards his new digs

in Playa Del Rey

I wouldn’t be lying

if I said I was prying

into Shane Victorino’s very

personal ways

But as the Dodgers are buying

and others supplying

loads o’ more people with which Victorino

shall play.

So the Flyin’ Hawaiian,

his uniform dyeing,

will be indemnifying

against the Dodgers losing

their playoff parfait.

Also, it’s looking very much like Ryan Dempster will be headed to the Dodgers. Which isn’t very strange since Dempster basically said, “I would like to play for the Dodgers and the Braves. And I will not go to the Braves because of Twitter.”
