Hot on the heels of the Padres new duds, Jane Lee of MLB.com brings us the Athletics new home alternatives.
I am probably one of the few, but I am a big fan of the Athletics green and gold, mostly because it’s one of the more unique looks out there. While these new ones are certainly, umm, unique, they look more like those bizarre knock-off jerseys they sell on clearance in TJ Maxx. Because when I think of the A’s, I certainly think of pale yellow and blue. Are the A’s playing baseball or planning on putting a baby to sleep?
Why not have the alternates make a callback to these bad boys worn by the 1921 Philadelphia A’s?
