Here, Jerry Blevins and Chris Carter (for what better Athletics to represent the team than these two?) model the new home alternates, an addendum to yesterday’s post. While I initially disliked the jerseys because I thought they looked like pastel versions to be worn on Easter, I’m not a huge fan of these either although they at least remain consistent with the A’s color scheme. 
These uniform tops look to combine the general styling of the 1928 Philadelphia A’s, with the pullovers from the 70s. While I’m still not a huge fan of these, and am not a fan of most alternates as they’re an excuse to sell more merchandise, I can see these growing on me, especially if they go all out like these 1970s all-yellows. Now that says fashion.
