"I’ve pitched with enough stuff, not being healthy with elbow issues, groin issues, back. Just let me go out there and compete. That’s what I want to do. I feel like I can get through it."

The Yankees are set to receive some much-needed reinforcements with the return of both Ivan Nova and Andy Pettitte. The lefty made nine starts before being shelved with a fractured ankle. He was 3 - 3 with a 3.22 ERA and 59/15 K/BB ratio in 58.2 innings. New York is trying to pull ahead of Baltimore for first place in the AL East.

Though at this point, it truly feels like Joe Girardi will need to conjure up some dark magic in order to catch the Orioles. Of course, Pettitte brings ample experience with storm, fire, and chaos spells, though some continue to question the amount of mana he has on-hand without needing to go to the elixir to replenish.
