Oh my stars and garters, this is fantastic. There is the pomp and circumstance that surrounds noteworthy events, like plaques and giveaway days for no-hitters, and then there are things like this: the regal headpiece that will be presented to Miguel Cabrera before tonight’s game for winning The Triple Crown. 

I can only hope that Cabrera will wear this fabulous headpiece out and about, refusing to take it off for doctor’s appointments, weddings, funerals, or even in-game activities like playing third base.
