Anonymous: Buehrle, dammit, Buehrle!

Sorry. You always spell it Buerhle and I think it takes a few minutes off my life every time. I am in love with your blog otherwise though.

Personally I blame Mark Buehrle for my endless series of mistakes because that’s the craziest way to spell a name. In fact, even when I went to respond to this question, I misspelt Buehrle a few times because my body does not want to write it correctly.

I’ve updated the offending post, but Shaun Marcum and Mark Buehrle are on notice. Also, as I’ve re-read this post to ensure that I’m spelling it correctly, I’ve reached the point where letters are meaningless and language is mystical and frightening.

Thank you for pointing that out and making my brain do flip flops.
