I call this triptych “Pitchers Batting, or, Flailing Wildly in the Face of Certain Doom.” 
And for the record, this mighty triumvirate hit a combined .162 with 5 HR and 158 sacrifices in 1,131 at-bats. To be fair, 948 of those were Smoltz’s.
