In case you forgot, Pedro Martinez is (and no, I refuse to use ‘was’) amazing. He posted two sub 2.00 ERA seasons in the height of the so-called steroid era, during which he had a seven-year run from ‘97-2003 in which he went 118-36 (one of the few times a W-L record means something) with a 2.20 ERA, 11.3 K/9, 2.0 BB/9, and lead the league in pretty much every category a pitcher can lead the league in. He was interesting, unique, electric, and quite possibly the best pitcher I’ve been alive to see. I even managed to watch him pitch against the Yankees as a member of the Expos. A team that is long dead!

Which is why, what, you’re NOT going to watch a 12 minute compilation of highlights? I thought not.
