Livan Hernandez Target of FBI Money Laundering Probe
Hoo boy, apparently Livan Hernandez has skills other than pitching 200+ innings of 80 mph fastballs. He can also launder money for the drug trafficker Angel Ayala Vazquez, otherwise known as “The Buster.” (I hope he’s changed his name since Arrested Development.)
From Vocero.com and translated by the Free Republic:
“During Ayala’s trial, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents declared that a wharehouse and a collection of exotic cars like Lamborghinis, Aston Martins and Porsches where all registered to the Major League pitcher. Part of the evidence was illustrated by U.S. Attorney Timothy Henwood who showed pictures of the wharehouse interior located in Reparto Valencia, Bayamón (Puerto Rico) which was raided by DEA and FBI agents in June of 2009.”
While this is all speculation currently, rarely is it a good sign to hang out with known drug dealers or people with nicknames that begin with “the”. I truly enjoy watching the pudgy Livan toss the apple, so I hope these claims will be baseless, but this case could be far more important than Barry Bonds teaching kids how to take steroids.
