Whoa. Didn’t expect this so soon. After posting about the Rangers offensive struggles earlier tonight, the Rangers sent down Chris Davis and called up uber-prospect Justin Smoak. Unfortunately this might be it for Davis if he can’t figure out how to cut down on strikeouts and maintain his power.

And Smoak may just take this job and hang onto it for a very, very long time.
