Jakubauskas fell instantly to the ground and immediately began kicking his feet. Just as quickly, Pirates medical staff was on the mound."
I really hope that Jakubauskas will be alright, but it’s good to see that he began moving quickly. Even if there is no severe damage, he’ll probably never be the same pitcher again. It’s always frightening when these things happen and it’s very sad as Jakubauskas is one of those few self-made success stories in baseball.
