Good: Glasses are always cool on the baseball field. They protect your eyes, make you look smart, and regulate your vision. I’m still waiting for the second coming of Chris Sabo, though.
Bad: Despite pitching six innings and allowing only one run, Brett Cecil takes the loss against the Red Sox. It wasn’t really fair to expect the Blue Jays to win as Mike McCoy started in left field, Randy Ruiz started at DH, and John McDonald started at third base. It’s lucky they were only shutout and MLB didn’t invent a new rule in which teams can score negative runs.
Ugly: I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it many, many times before this season is over: these are the worst uniforms in baseball. Just look at that hat! It’s the rejected design for some independent league team and it should be nowhere near a Major League field.
