Yes, it’s possible that Bautista is using PEDs, but until there is any evidence other than exceptional on-field performance, I don’t want to speculate. Roger Maris had a pretty fantastic season as well, but I’m fairly certain that he was clean.
Also, from the Clinical Journal of Sports Medicine: “There is no evidence of increased muscle strength with HGH in trained athletes.”
As an aside, I leave anonymous questions open because I welcome criticism and disagreement, but I often prefer to answer privately.
