Victory, how sweet it is.
In Jo-Jo Reyes’ first victory since June 13, 2008, he went the distance, not trusting any bullpen members to keep him from hallowed ground. His line: 9 IP, 8 H, 1 R, 1 BB, 4 SO.
I’m assuming that this photo, and the Jo-Jo Reyes story, will be used for inspirational photos the world over with an accompanying CBS docudrama to soon follow.
