(Note: I feel terrible. I was planning on linking to this while it was ongoing, but forgot to queue my post over the weekend. This is my attempt to rectify that).
Eric Bynum of Baseball de World hosted a fundraiser over the weekend to raise money for the V Foundation for Cancer Research. It was a personal cause for Bynum who had lost a close family friend to that horrible, wretched disease.
During the weekend, Eric covered the record for complete games in a season, the five best baseball documentaries, and, my personal favorite, the best throwback uniforms, among the dozens of other posts.
He also had a number of guest posters including Dan Glickman of the Baseball Continuum, the media coordinator for the Australian Baseball League, and one from li’l ole me about how I can’t narrow down a favorite baseball memory. You can check out all of the posts from the day here.
Even better, you can still donate to the cause to help kick cancer’s miserable ass. Click here to do so.
