Sorry, Dave. But there’s absolutely nothing you can do. The pesky offense has been anything but, and outside of Millwood and Guthrie, the pitching has been weak. I could also make a simpler point: this team is not very good. No amount of lineup juggling is going to change that.

Still, quotes like this show that it’s time for Trembley to be let go. He looks to be at the end of his rope and while he shouldn’t be expected to field a playoff ready team, he’s no longer the manager capable of crafting this young team into winners.
