RA Dickey picked up his second win of the season thanks to an offensive explosion in the Mets 10-4 victory over the Brewers. Whenever you think of a knuckleballer, I want you think of this photo of fury.
Jeff Francouer’s hack and whack approach worked today as he went 4-5 with 2 doubles and three runs scored to help the Mets overcome two home runs from Reggie Weeks. Francouer did this despite only seeing 13 total pitches spread across his five at bats which doesn’t sound so bad until you realize that Albert Pujols saw 26 pitches in his 5 plate appearances. And that counts his two walks where he saw a total of 8 pitches.
