How long is the Chris Narveson experiment going to continue in Milwaukee? Ever since transitioning into a starter, his ERA has never dipped below 5.17 and after today’s outing it sits at 5.81. Some credit should be given in that he shutout the Marlins for 5 innings, but don’t give him too much. He did give up 5 of the 7 the Marlins scored in the 6th, including Cody Ross’s 3 run shot.
The Brewers pitching staff must have all gone out for drinks last night, as none of them finished a clean frame during the Marlins 13-5 victory. I know I’ve been ripping into Narveson in this post, but the Brewers don’t have anyone to replace him. Their entire rotation is weak and that’s Doug Melvin’s fault.
