Zach Duke’s Mighty Swing

Sound familiar? Player leaves Pittsburgh and unlocks the secrets to his swing, bursting forth with unexpected power. First it was Jose Bautista, now it’s Zach Duke.
Against the Marlins last night, Zach Duke took Ricky Nolasco deep for his second home run on the season. For those keeping score:
HR as a Pirate: 0 in 293 AB.
HR as a D’Back: 2 in 7 AB.
Of course, Duke gave up 13 hits and 7 runs in only 4.2 innings of work, so he failed to qualify for the victory in the Diamondbacks 12-9 win in South Florida. He probably couldn’t concentrate on pitching while flexing his muscles so often.
