Only the Marlins, with a record of 3-21 in June and playing a “home” game in a state and stadium that is not their own, could lose a ballgame in the tenth inning on a wild pitch during an intentional walk. 

With Dustin Ackley standing on third and Carlos Peguero at the plate, Steven Cishek threw an intentional ball well beyond the reach of John Buck, allowing Dustin Ackley to race home. 

Even stranger, Cishek* had walked only two batters in 16.1 innings coming into the game, proving that practice does indeed make perfect.
