Rafael Furcal went 4-5 with a home run and three runs scored in the Dodgers complete annihilation of the Giants 8-2. Furcal is not hitting .333 on the season, continuing his trend of playing well every other season. Vincente Padilla also won his 100th game of his career which is startling when you think of all the enemies he has made in each city he’s played for. It hasn’t happened in LA yet, but they’ve also accepted Manny Ramirez so maybe the sunshine keep everyone calm.
The Giants have only scored 14 runs in their last six games and need their offense to start stepping it up. With Bengie Molina traded for more pitching, Giants fans had better hope Brian Sabean has a bat somewhere up his sleeve or the West may soon slip away.
