Sometimes it’s hard to find something to write about a game because both pitchers went 5.1 innings and gave up three runs, and no big home runs were hit, and no batter had a crazy game. And then there are games that give me too much to write about. Do I focus on Roy Halladay’s 8th complete game, putting him on pace for 274 innings? Or do I write about top prospect Dominic Brown’s Major League debut where he laced two hits and two RBI in the Phillies 7-1 victory? Or do I write about another piss poor outing from Edwin Jackson (5 IP, 5 ER, 5 BB) raising his ERA to 5.16? Really, it’s just too much and I’m overwhelmed. (AP Photo)
