Taylor Teagarden’s robust line after picking up his second hit and first home run on the season in the Rangers 7-4 victory against Oakland.

Saying that Teagarden has been a dissappointment is a massive understatement. Teagarden’s complete inability to hit, as evidenced by his -4 OPS+ (That’s a negative by the way. NEGATIVE.) was a major reason the Rangers went from a catching surplus to catching deficit so quickly that Bengie Molina’s anti-walk campaign brought respectability to the position in Arlington.
