Christian Guzman Also Headed to Texas →
At this point, Texas is practically a different team than they started the season with. It’s like Texas thinks that if you make more trades than any other team in baseball, you get bonus victories. I haven’t read my copy of the Major League Rules and Regulations lately, but I don’t think that’s the case.
No big names are coming back to Washington making this one of those “You scratch my back, I’ll scratch yours five years from now when you need someone to fill in for an injured player.”
Which is all Guzman should be—a fill-in for Kinsler and capable bench man come October. But he should fill that role exceptionally well.
